Effective July 10, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Kemet Keepers ("we", "us") covering the Kemet Keepers game (the "Game"), the community forum at forum.kemetkeepers.com (the "Forum"), and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them.
Kemet Keepers is a shared world. You agree not to:
Forum-specific rules posted on the Forum also apply there. If you find a bug or security issue, please report it to support@kemetkeepers.com rather than exploiting it.
You keep ownership of what you post on the Forum or submit in-game (names, messages, posts). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service. We may remove content that violates these terms.
The Game, including its art, characters, beasts, music, story, and code, is our property and licensed to you — not sold — for personal, non-commercial play. Beasts, items, and in-game currency are virtual features of the Service: they have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for money, and may be adjusted for balance (we won't do so arbitrarily or punitively).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — with cheating, harassment, and attacks on the Service being the fast lane. Where reasonable we'll warn first. You may stop using the Service, or request account deletion, at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
The Game requires an internet connection and an account. We aim to keep the Service online and your saves safe (including off-site backups), but we're a small operation: the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and may occasionally be down for maintenance or updates. We may modify or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable advance notice on the Forum.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $20 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and announced on the Forum; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
